Social Impact Statement
Through my platform, “The District 5 Foundation”, I am raising money and awareness so that the Lexington Richland School District 5 snack pack program can continue. The snack pack program provides nutritious food to those students who do not have access to it on the weekend, because a child should not worry about where their next meal is coming from, and instead be focused on learning all they can while at school. The foundation also provides funding for exciting projects that teachers wish to do for their students and emergency funding for families that have experienced a sudden loss or personal emergency.

In high school, I traveled to 6 countries as a student ambassador for South Carolina with the People to People organization and in college I did a student teaching experience in Lisbon, Portugal at the Carlucci American International School.
