MEET THE STATE DIRECTOR/PROMOTER:

Franchesca Thomas
Franchesca is Ms. Oklahoma Plus America
2005 and was the 1st runner up to Ms Plus America 2005. She
has a zeal for life, is bursting with self confidence and is a
strong advocate for community service. Some would never know
that she grew up with a speech impediment. She loves to sing
the National Anthem Acapella style and sings country music
impeccably. She has served for 12 years as a pageant
choreographer, modeling coach, recruiter, and morale
coordinator and is also a director of a local pageant.
Franchesca holds a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts with an
emphasis in Music & History from Oklahoma Christian
University.

REQUIREMENTS:

Delegates
must be at least size 14W or larger.

Division
winners are required to compete at the National MPA Pageant
2009.

Delegates
are required to sell
Patron
Sponsor Pages and final night tickets. Contact the state
director to learn how!

Can be a
full-time matriculated student attending a Oklahoma college or
university.

Delegates
must be of good moral character.
-
Delegate
must be born female.
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Miss Oklahoma Plus America reserves the right to
refuse entrance to any applicant.

Optional Competition:

Talent: $40
This is a competition separate
unto itself. It has its own entry fee. Talent may consist of
singing, dancing, poetry reading, sign language, etc. No piano
will be provided. This competition is judged on stage presence,
originality and difficulty of routine. Props are allowed.

Spokesmodel $10
This is a competition separate unto
itself. Prepare a speech, no longer than one minute in
length Contact your state director for more details on the
proposed subject of the speech! This competition will be judged
on projection, stage presence, speaking ability and confidence.

Pro-Am Modeling $10
This is a competition separate unto itself. It has its own entry
fee. Contestants in this category provide their own music and do
a professional catwalk routine. Costuming and presentation are
important! Routine Time Limit: One minute. This competition is
judged on stage presence, originality and difficulty of routine.
Props are encouraged.

Photogenic Portfolio $10
This is a competition separate unto itself. Bring five or more
photos of yourself in a presentation folder. This competition is
judged on variety of poses, originality and photogenic appeal.

Humorous/Dramatic Interpretation $10
This is a competition separate unto
itself. This is a competition where contestants will perform
a humorous or dramatic monologue or a humorous/dramatic poetry or
prose reading. This is for the actors out there!
Costuming is important! Props encouraged. This
competition is judged on stage presence and difficulty of routine.

Reservation/Application Fee:
$100.00
A minimum $100 reservation/application fee is required to reserve
the title that you wish to represent. Please provide your top three
title choices. This fee must be received within ten business days
of the date your online submission is received. You will be notified
by email or phone when your payment has been received. Any
application received without the $100 fee (or greater) is considered
incomplete and your title will once again be up for grabs!
