Kathy Peel, Ms Plus America will be instructing a CPR class for local paramedics on November 11th - 17th!

Loosing a Friend is Never Easy.

Kathy Peel, our Ms Plus America recently notified us of a fallen friend.  He was named North River 2003 Fire Fighter of the Year and Kathy was still Ms Florida when he took a moment to pose with her.  She writes:

"I regret to say that he was killed in a vehicle crash earlier this morning while away from home.  It has hit my husband hard since he frequently worked with him.  They both worked at the same fire department.  I am so glad that we have that picture to reflect upon.  Unfortunately there will be a funeral for us to attend in the next few days of a young healthy, vibrant man."

Please keep the family of Steve Snyder as well as Kathy and her husband in your prayers.  Loosing a friend is never easy.

Ms Plus America a Guest Speaker!

Kathy Peel will be appearing at a conference for the Circle K Club.  This is a college level Kiwanis club.  She will be a guest panel speaker and then open the floor for questions.  The topic she  will be speaking about is "How to Present Yourself".  The date is Oct. 25, 2003  10:30 - 2:00  at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fl.

Kathy Peel Boogies Down for Charity!

Ms Plus America volunteered for the Women's Resource Center on 9-19-03 for their 4th annual "Boot Scootin' Boogie".  It is one of their largest fundraisers during the year and is a major source of income supporting the center.  She assisted with selling raffle tickets and maintaining the silent auction and collected funds from the silent auction.
