Bras For Hope Breast Cancer Awareness Coalition. A percentage of the proceeds from pageant ticket sells will go to the Bras For Hope Charity.

The Agape Love team is comprised of professionals, dedicated to the Agape Love mission, who collectively bring more than one hundred years in management, event planning, and operations to the table, www.christlikelove.com/about.php.

As the President of Agape Love Ms. Jones-Moore has produced and sponsored a number of events and programs such as:

The “Joy To The World” Christmas Party And Fashion Show, hosted by Author and Gospel Radio Personality Jean Jennings of “Sunday Evening Praise,” WSSD 88.1 FM;

“Ruth Boaz Meet and Greet Events” for Christian Singles

 Super Bowl Party Buffet and Raffle.

“Agape Love Day” Comedy Night.

“Speed Networking and Karaoke” social and professional networking parties for unmarried entrepreneurs.

Juri Jones-Moore has spent her entire professional life working to make things better. She has worked in environmental education, developed programs and curriculum, and outreach and communications strategies. She was Assistant Commissioner for the City of Chicago Department of Environment, Community programming and Outreach, Division. 

Ms. Jones-Moore is also the owner of Spirit, Body & Soul, The Essence of You, Image and Stylist consultation where she utilizes her knowledge and experience in teaching and fitness to guide clients on the importance of self esteem, image and most of all, preserving themselves as living sacrifices for the body of Christ. She has more than 10 years experience as an aerobics instructor.

She has been a member of Living Word Christian Center for more than 14 years where she serves as a Dance Leader for the Living Word Christian Center Perfected Praise Dance Ministry and the Director of the Anointed Ones Hip Hop Dance Youth Ministry.

AGE DIVISIONS:

Natural born females between the ages of 18 and 29; Beautiful, classy, poised and elegant; At least a size 14W or higher; Must be one of the following: A Resident of Illinois; A full-time matriculated student attending an Illinois college/university; Working in Illinois and; A U.S. Citizen

CATEGORIES OF COMPETITION:

Each Contestant is required to sell a minimum of five tickets for the pageant event. There will be a grand prize for the contestant who sales the most tickets of ten and up!

Peoples’ Choice Raffle Tickets for Audience Participation

2009 TOTAL ENTRY FEE:  $500.00

*Deadline for entry into the Miss Illinois Plus America Pageant is March 16, 2009.

A deposit $100.00 to secure contestant participation. Partial payment scales after the initial $100.00 deposit can be set up on a one to one basis and must be approved by the Illinois State Director.

All monies are due by March 16, 2009.
