NOTICE:

Most of the rules listed here apply only in states without a State Director.  If your state has a Director, you will be put in contact with your Director for specific information on fees and competitions in your state.  If you don't hear from your state director within 24 hours, please contact the national office by emailing Melissa Stamper at director@missplusamerica.com.


A non-refundable, non-transferable entry fee of $700 is required to enter the Miss Plus America Pageant.  There will be no refunds under ANY circumstances.  Neither entry fees nor titles will be held over from one year to the next.  Individual entry fees may vary, depending on whether your state has a State Director.  If your state has a State Director, you will be put in direct contact with the Director in order to get the specifics on fees and competitions in your state.

A fee of $100 is required to hold your state title until the remainder of your entry fee is made.  This $100 is credited toward  your entry fee.  You will then receive a payment plan of which you are expected to abide by.  If the payment plan needs to be negotiated, that is fine.  Once the payment plan is negotiated, the delegate is expected to adhere to all payment dates.  You will not receive your state delegate packet, crown and banner until all paperwork is turned in and your total entry fees are PAID IN FULL* Deadline for entries is May 15, 2011.

Failure to remit the entry fee in its' entirety by the deadline may result in removal of  the state delegate and she will be unable to compete.

A color photograph of you must accompany your first installment of $100.  Contestants may email a clearly scanned photograph for the delegates' page if she so wishes.  Please do everything in your power to comply with this request.  

Upon receipt of the entirety of your fees you will receive your crown and banner. 

Entry fees include:  Official Miss Plus America State Crown and Sash, welcome packet, welcome gift bag, program book and some meals.
 
All delegates are required to sell a total of two final night tickets @ $25.00 each and two Plus America "Viva La Diva Party"  tickets @ $50.00 each, a total of $150.

All delegates are required to sell one full-page advertisement in the program book at the cost of $150 each.   The delegate who sells the most advertisement (over $500) will receive a cash award! 

All contestants are required to stay at the host hotel.

Teen Ambassador Fees:

  • $300
       
     *A $100 state title reservation fee is required to hold your title.

  • Required to sell two final night tickets @ $25 each.

  • Required to sell one-half page in the program book @80.

*If there is a state pageant in the state that the teen lives in and that state pageant offers a Teen Ambassador competition, the teen must compete in the state pageant and win to be eligible to come to nationals.  If the teen does not live in a state where a state-pageant is held, or the state pageant does not have a competition for Teen Ambassador, that teen can enter the national competition as an 'at large' delegate.

Teen delegates must have written consent of their parents to compete in Miss Plus America.  A photo release must be submitted by a parent or guardian.  For more information contact Delegate Liaison, Karen Dowden at kdowden@missplusamerica.com


Reservation of State Titles:

There is a minimum $100 fee to reserve the state that you would like to represent.  Please provide your top three picks for state titles.  This fee must be received within ten business days of the date your online submission is received.  You will be notified by email or phone when your payment has been received.  A fee schedule will be provided for you.  

If you fail to make a scheduled payment without prior notification and payment arrangements, you will lose your title and any fees paid in to the Miss Plus America Pageant.

All state delegates are REQUIRED to attend the national competition.  State titles are given with the expectation of your attendance of the National Pageant in July.  NO EXCEPTIONS!!

All state delegates are expected to make one appearance per month until her reign is complete.  

**THERE IS NO CONTEST OR AWARD FOR NUMBER OF APPEARANCES MADE!!!**


**Important Notice!**

If there is a State Director assigned in your state, you will be put in direct contact with that director in order to begin preparation for any competitions held for the state title.  If there is no State Director for your state, the first delegate to send in her reservation fee/entry fee in full is awarded her state title.  This is on a first come, first serve basis.  If you plan to enter, email the director for details on the state titles that are or are not available.  Any application received without a $100 (or greater) deposit is considered incomplete.

If your application is received online, email the director and tell her your top three choices of states in which you would like to represent.  That state will be held for ten business days onlyIf the deposit is not received within ten business days, your state title, once again, will be "up for grabs".

As stated above, you may represent the state you live in, were born in, hold property in, work in, or went to school in.

Composite scores will be mailed out electronically within thirty days of the Pageant's ending.  Because of time constraints during judging, no comments are provided.

How to secure your state title:

  • Fill out the online application by clicking here.

  • Secure your state title by clicking one of the paypal links below.  Initial payments should be $100 or greater.

  • Or send a money order or cashier's check in to:  Coronet Productions, 2111 Sardis Fire Station Road ~ Farmerville, LA  71241.  Initial payments should be $100 or greater.  Personal Checks will not be accepted.  ALL SNAIL-MAIL PAYMENTS MUST BE SENT PRIORITY WITH A DELIVERY CONFIRMATION TRACKING NUMBER.  MPA is not responsible for lost entry fees.
